Dr. Neva Crogan is a Professor of Nursing at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.

A systems approach to improving the nutritional status and quality of life of nursing home elders is Dr. Crogan’s nursing and research focus. Dr. Crogan has worked as a nurse educator training nursing home staff in the care of older adults, as a Washington State nursing home inspector ensuring quality care and compliance with state and federal regulations, and as a nurse consultant for a large number of skilled nursing facilities. Currently in addition to her teaching for Gonzaga, she conducts aging research, practices nursing as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, and acts as a consultant and expert reviewer for nursing homes and attorney groups.
