Areas of Expertise/Research Interests (List All Please)
I believe passion to be the noblest and more rewarding path that an individual can pursue. My career and research are wholly mediated by this guiding principle. The below-mentioned topics constitute my current areas of research, teaching and curriculum design.
1. Capitalism's transition from the selling of goods to the creation of experiences. This involves the shift from value embedded within the physical good to value embedded within the outcome of the good/service and finally to value being embedded within a co-designed experience between producer and consumer. (service-dominant logic, service science, service leadership);
2. The future of capitalism as guided by disruptive tech and big data: digital economy, trust economy, peer-to-peer economy, the internet-of-things, experience economy;
3. Phenomenology as the direct study of experience. This form of study elucidates what experiences, outcomes and potentials have meaning or value.
MA Thesis: Mindfulness and phenomenology as ways to understand and study capitalism as a world system.
Publication: Existentialism and critical pedagogy as means of shift in capitalism as world system.
