James E. Bidlack, Ph.D., is a Professor of Biology and CURE-STEM Scholar at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO), President of Metabolism Foundation, and Vice President / Chief Science Officer of The Genome Registry - all located at Edmond, Oklahoma. He is Past President of the UCO American Association of University Professors; Editorial Board Member for MERLOT/Biology; Secretary/Treasurer for the UCO Sigma Xi Honor Society, Past Co-Sponsor for the UCO Tri-Beta/Biology Club and proud supporter of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, Circle K International, and the Mortar Board Honor Society. Dr. Bidlack generally teaches one or more of the following courses at UCO during the Academic Year: Success Central (occasionally), General Biology during Fall, Spring, and Summer, Plant Biology (occasionally), Plant Physiology during Spring, Plant Anatomy during Fall, Molecular Cell Physiology (occasionally). Directed Research for undergraduate students and Thesis Hours for graduate students are generally taught every semester, but must be arranged with the instructor.
